MANIFESTO FOR STUDENT PLACEMENT CELL

I, Raj Ruparel, am studying in the M.Sc. Data Science 2026 batch. I have completed my BTech in CSE from Indus University, Ahmedabad. I intend to represent the students of M.Sc. in the Student Placement Cell (SPC).
I served as Head Boy at St. Mary's School, Porbandar, during my school years, regularly leading my peers across various responsibilities and activities. During my undergraduate studies, I was also an active member of the Rotary Club at Indus University, contributing to the organisation of multiple events. Through these roles, I learned skills such as adaptability, clear communication, coordination, time management, and accountability.
With the help of these skills, I will be able to contribute significantly to the Student Placement Cell.
Initiatives:
- I will design a structured, difficulty-graded preparation track for the Pre-Placement Tests, helping students progress from foundational concepts to advanced level.
- I will gather interview insights from multiple placed alumni, based on class consensus on target job roles, and consolidate them into a focused preparation roadmap.
- I will try to connect unplaced students, if they need it, with professional networks outside on-campus recruitment as an additional support, and will report any related offer to the placement office immediately.
Pledges:
- I pledge to maintain transparency in the placement-related process and keep the student community updated at every stage.
- I pledge to ensure that all opportunities reach every student equally, without bias or favouritism.
- I pledge to maintain honesty in my interactions with students, being answerable to students if concerns arise.
- I pledge to support batchmates' preparation with appropriate resources and guidance.
- I pledge to keep every interaction constructive, focused on what is within a student's control.
