Hello friends, I am Rutuja Polojwar from the M.Sc. Data Science batch, and I am contesting for the Academic Committee DUE. My goal is to contribute towards creating a smoother, more transparent, and student-friendly academic environment for our batch. If selected, I will take the responsibility of representing the students and making sure that academic concerns are properly communicated, followed up on, and addressed effectively.
• I will be approachable, responsible, and open to listening to everyone's concerns.
• I will represent the interests of the batch fairly and without bias.
• I believe in communicating concerns respectfully and following up until they are properly addressed.
• I will value suggestions and feedback from everyone and work together with the batch towards improving our academic experience.
Supporting Course-Related Queries :
I will help students with elective selection, course registration, and other academic processes by collecting common concerns and coordinating with the concerned faculty or academic office whenever required.
Bridging the Gap Between Students & Faculty :
I will work towards creating better communication between students, faculty, and TAs. I will make sure that genuine student concerns are communicated clearly and respectfully, while also helping students understand faculty expectations regarding courses, assignments, and assessments.
Clear & Timely Academic Updates :
I will ensure that important information regarding academic schedules, deadlines, examinations, registration, and other academic activities reaches students on time, reducing confusion and last-minute issues.
Transparency in Grading & Academic Rules :
I will work towards ensuring that students have clarity regarding grading criteria, evaluation methods, re-evaluation procedures, attendance requirements, and other academic rules, so that expectations are clear from the beginning.
