Myself Hetul Thakkar, a student of M.Sc. IT (Batch 2026).Successful placements depend on
solid coordination between students and the Placement Cell. With 8–10 months of experience
as a BDE (Business Development Executive) at an HR firm, where I worked on recruiter
outreach and candidate pre-screening, I aim to be a reliable and responsible bridge between
our batch and the Placement Cell.
What I Aim to Do:
Recruiter Sourcing for the Placement Office: Utilize my background in talent sourcing
and candidate pre-screening to identify relevant campus-hiring leads and share appropriate
recruiter contacts to the Placement Office.
Role-specific workshops: Organize targeted workshops relevant to distinct career
profiles (e.g. Data Engineer, AI Engineer,etc) rather than generic domain
sessions, helping students understand exact role expectations, address the specific
technical gaps, and prepare directly for job requirements.
Batch Profile Tracker: Maintain a tracker of everyone’s core skills, strengths, and
targeted roles and use this data to identify and share matching recruiter leads with the
Placement Office.

would help me perform my duties and help batchmates, while my focus as a batchmate is to
ensure every student’s concerns are heard and resolved without bias. I ensure transparent
communication, and dedication to make our placement drive organized and successful for
