M.Sc(IT)
Hello everyone,
I am Kaivan Koshti, from the M.Sc (IT) 2026 batch, and I am contesting for the Academic Committee. I completed my B.Sc in IT from GLS University, and during my undergraduate years I got the opportunity to lead my team at Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024. That experience taught me how to coordinate with different people, stay accountable under pressure, and turn ideas into real, working outcomes skills I want to now bring to representing our batch.
Over the past two months at DAU, I've had the chance to settle in, understand how things work here, and start building good relationships with both peers and faculty. This has given me a fair sense of what students go through day-to-day, and I want to use that to genuinely represent our batch's concerns.
Key Focus Areas
Bridging Students and Faculty: I will make sure that academic concerns raised by students are conveyed clearly and respectfully to the relevant committees and faculty, and followed up on until resolved.
Clear Academic Communication: I will work to ensure timely updates on schedules, deadlines, and academic rules so that no one is caught off guard.
Transparency in Grading and Evaluation: I will push for clarity in grading rubrics and re-evaluation processes so students feel fairly assessed.
Support in Registration/Electives: I will help address issues around course and elective registration so the process is smoother for everyone.
Why Me?
Proven leadership and coordination experience from leading a team at SIH 2024.
I will stay humble and unbiased, always open to listening to your concerns.
Someone who values follow-through over just making statements.
I am committed to staying approachable, listening closely, and working sincerely to make sure every concern from our batch reaches the right people and gets addressed.
Thank you.
