Hello everyone, I am Krish Nariya, a 1st-year M.Tech student. A well-structured academic environment is essential for us to thrive in our coursework and research. I am running for the Academic Committee to serve as a direct, reliable bridge between our batch and the faculty, ensuring our academic concerns are resolved swiftly, and curriculum decisions reflect our needs.
Why do I want to serve?
- To serve as a transparent, proactive channel between students, course instructors, and the administration.
- To ensure course scheduling conflicts, slot overlaps, and timetable clashes are resolved before they impact learning.
- To ensure student course reviews translate into tangible changes by turning end-of-term feedback into concrete proposals for department faculty.
- To advocate for updated, industry-aligned electives that prepare us for advanced research and career goals.
My Vision:
- Comprehensive Post-Course Feedback: Transform post-exam course reviews into concise summary reports. Present these findings directly to instructors to resolve key issues around pacing, grading fairness, and curriculum depth.
- Elective Modernization: Actively collect student input on existing electives and formally suggest new, cutting-edge subjects if current options do not meet batch interests or modern domain requirements.
- Academic Resource Hub: Build a shared repository for lecture notes, past papers, and research guidance to support coursework and thesis planning.
