MANIFESTO
Greetings, I am Shashank Sambhara (202503039), and this is my manifesto for the upcoming
Student Body Govt. Academic Committee Elections (2026).
This manifesto isn’t just a list of promises, it’s a plan to strengthen what already is and
to improve the situation for what isn’t.
My Agendas and Initiatives:
1) Rural Internship System Modification – Bring about changes in the way the
current RI System functions, in order to enhance flexibility, ease travel and
economic burdens on students. Also giving them an option of choosing between
intra-state and inter-state locations for the RI.
2) Continued Management of Electives Scenario – Make sure to continue current
MnC electives and aim at adding more useful electives in near future, including
ones which are useful for placement opportunities.
3) Comprehensive Analysis Guides for Courses – Prepare a detailed analysis
guide for each course offered with important information like “how to approach
the subject”, prerequisites for that course, past exam patterns, useful reference
books, previous test papers, etc. to essentially have a one-stop solution for all
things related to the course.
What I Prioritize:
1) Transparency – To make sure the class is well informed of every step.
2) Communication – To make sure to bridge all communication gaps between the
class and the faculty, and to value feedback.
3) Impartiality – To make sure that everyone’s opinion is heard and that the
decisions made are unbiased and fair.
Why Me?
1) I have been an active member of academic activities in my class so far. I am
enthusiastic in helping out others and to manage tasks.
2) Being part of student body organizations at school level has trained me in
teamwork and collaborative skills.
3) I am very keen on honing my communication and management skills, and am
actively taking steps to improve them
