Concerns:

•          Insufficient awareness regarding event details, scale and activities.
•      Limited participation from students in events.
•      Planning phase begins too late, which creates chaos and prevents the event from reaching its maximum potential.

Initiatives:

•          Increasing social media presence – posting about the event in advance, ‘Event in Progress’ reels, ‘Save the date’ campaigns and interactive stories.
•      Freshers party – host a freshers’ party for the next batch of students.
•      Starting event preparation and idea-building stage earlier, to ensure a more organized execution.
•      Create a feedback form asking for suggestions after events.
•          Scale-up existing events like Halloween by showing a horror movie or telling horror stories.

Past Experiences:

•          Core member in cultural committee’s previous tenure.
•      Volunteered in Tarang 2025

o   Contributed in campus designing

o   Helped on the day of the event

•          Sponsorship and PR experience in StartUp Expo organized by Business Club.
•      Event coordinator for FootLoose in Synapse 2026
•      Experience in PR for Hackout 2025.

Why Me?

•          I am deeply passionate about coordinating and organizing an event. I am a good problem solver and like to take up new challenges and initiatives.
•          I am skilled in art and design. My creative thinking offers a unique perspective and will be an asset in the designing part of events.
•      I possess strong communication skills which will be helpful in Tarang for public relations and obtaining sponsorships.
•      I successfully conducted an art workshop singlehandedly in the past. It gave me practical experience in budgeting, time management and leadership.
