Why do I want to join the Academic committee and Why choose me?
I have prior leadership experience as School Pupil Leader, where I worked closely with students and administration to organize events, manage teams, and represent student concerns effectively.
From leading as School Pupil Leader to anchoring college events, I naturally step up by organizing, coordinating, and connecting people.
I am someone people feel comfortable approaching: I listen properly, understand the problem, and try to find a practical solution instead of giving vague responses.
KEY INITIATIVES:
- Introduce a structured system for B.Tech Exploration Projects, ensuring that students work on technical projects (such as hardware, software, or core engineering domains),allowing students to approach a mentor of their choice and propose a project.
- Introduce a system where students form their own groups, submit their NGO preferences, and allow a random allocation of the groups in the Rural Internship.
- I will try to work towards displaying daily attendance updates online for full transparency.
- Try to improve the course structure for the 1st sem by removing the Introduction to ICT course, and instead accommodating the tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB and Simulink in the Btech Exploration project tutorial of 1 credit.
- Improve the exam week schedule, by dedicating a week towards the exams instead of keeping 2 exams in a day.
