Committee: Academic Committee – MnC

 

As a candidate for the Academic Committee, I want to work towards making academics in MnC more structured, transparent, practical, and student-friendly. My aim is to represent student concerns effectively and contribute to creating an environment where students can grow academically without unnecessary stress.

 

Issues to be Addressed:-

• Assignment and quiz deadlines are sometimes hard to manage with co-curricular activities.
• In some courses, students feel that grading and evaluation are not fully clear.
• Long gaps and poor timetable scheduling reduce student productivity.
• Students need more industry-related electives and practical learning based on current technology trends.

1. Make better learning resources available, both online and offline, especially for courses with heavy prerequisites.
2. I will try to make reasonable assignment deadlines so students can balance academics with co-curricular activities.
3. Work towards a more transparent grading and evaluation policy in every course.
4. Work towards a more balanced and student-friendly timetable that is convenient for everyone.
5. I shall try my best to make courses that are relevant to current industry trends such as AI, Data Science, and Software Development.

I believe that I can contribute well to the Academic Committee through good communication, responsibility, and by listening to student concerns. I will act as a bridge between students and faculty and make honest efforts to bring practical changes that can improve the academic experience for MnC students.
