Student Placement Cell

Initiatives:
  1. Placement Awareness Session for First Year Students
Conduct an orientation session for first-year students covering the placement process, importance of CPI, and a basic skill roadmap. This will help them start early, plan effectively, and make better use of their breaks for preparation.
  2. Streamlining Data Verification for Placements
Propose direct integration of student data from the administration for placement verification, reducing manual effort by SPC and minimizing errors. This will save time, lower workload, and eliminate the need for students to arrive early solely for data verification.
  3. Industry led Mock GDs
Mock GD sessions to be conducted by industry HRs/recruiters to provide real exposure to GDs and hiring expectations. Unlike peer-led sessions, these will offer professional feedback, improve preparation, and help build stronger recruiter relations with college. This year some mock GDs were actually conducted by HRs and received a positive feedback too.

Why Me?

As a member of the Student Placement Cell (2025–26), I have firsthand experience with the placement process and understand the challenges students face, including communication gaps and areas for improvement.

I have coordinated with the placement office, managed company processes, and worked to bridge the gap between students and authorities by effectively communicating concerns and resolving queries.

What sets me apart is my accountability and approachability. I am always available to address placement-related issues and will ensure your concerns are either resolved or raised with the right authorities.

My aim is to make the placement process more transparent, efficient, and student-friendly.
