I, Hari Sharma, Btech ICT-CS, 2nd year, have nominated myself for the SBG Academic Committee. I served as a member of the Academic Committee for one year and also as a Deputy Convenor of the Academic Committee for one semester. 

• I, with the committee, successfully addressed an institute-wide issue of Grading Transparency by collecting a comprehensive data of all the courses that were offered in Win’24-25 and in Aut’25-26.

• Successfully got approved the new co-curricular policy which was intended to increase the participation of students in hackathons and extra curricular activities to some extent.

• As a deputy convenor, I always ensured that the inputs of all the members of the committee are given fair consideration and managed the committee tasks such that there is minimum workload per member.

• I will make sure that all the ongoing initiatives of the committee like Transparent Grading system, Comprehensive feedback system, Modular timetable and improvement in Examination experience of the students are implemented in the best possible way.

• I would ensure that all the achievements of the Committee are functioning smoothly in the best possible way.

• I would like to advocate a smooth Program switching process for the ICT/CS students so that they are free to pursue the Minor program of their interest.

• For the better examination experience of the students, there is a basic need of an online seat allocation portal, a proper examination experience feedback system and the proper frisking methods so that the examinations are conducted smoothly without disturbing the students’ convenience. Additionally, push for the Academic Committee's formal inclusion in the examination timetabling process, similar to the way in which the Committee reports the clashes and proposes the suggestions to the Timetable Committee regarding the Lecture and Lab timetable.
